Casa Domilu Hotel

Originally built as a house (‘casa’) between pretty Carvoeiro and the hamlet of Benagil, the Casa Domilu began to receive guests, and as time passed, grew into a most extraordinary and friendly small hotel of international appeal.

Do not expect sleek but impersonal service from lots of uniformed staff; instead, luxuriate in the beguilingly peaceful atmosphere of what many loyal clients regard as their home from home.

There are sufficient facilities to compete with those of larger properties: four pools (including an indoor seawater pool), health-and-beauty spa with sauna and small gym, floodlit tennis court, meeting and banqueting rooms – the hotel is popular for weddings.

Whilst Benagil beach is, perhaps, 25 minutes downhill walk, the hotel is so lovely that guests may have difficulty tearing themselves away. This is a location where a hire car, although not essential, may add to the enjoyment of your holiday.

The original twin rooms are fairly spartan in comparison with some of the truly amazing suites, each one is completely different.

All are air-conditioned/heated, and have satellite TV, safe (rental) and mini-bar.
