Le Méridien Penina Golf & Resort is an impressive hotel set in a lush 360-acre estate at the heart of the Algarve near the traditional fishing port of Portimão.

A luxurious hotel with a winning combination of comfort and first-class service it attracts many repeat guests. It offers a wealth of activities to suit all tastes, and is particularly famous for its golf, with its own 36-hole course designed by Sir Henry Cotton (handicap certificate required), driving range and putting green. Guests enjoy reduced green fees at the Penina courses and the San Lorenzo in Quinta do Lago when reserved through Cadogan.

They can also hire the services of resident instructors for tennis and golf. There is an Olympic-size swimming pool and a choice of excellent restaurants, ranging from the formal Grill to the Sagres for lively theme evenings or L’Arlechino for occasional alfresco dining.
