The impressive Los Jameos Playa Hotel is a very attractive hotel set in lovely grounds by the beach. It is popular with families and offers an extensive choice of sports facilities. The reception building is built in an attractive Canary Islands style and houses the public rooms, including a small folklore museum.

The hotel has a baby pool, children’s pool, extensive playground and organises games and events for all ages. There are two larger lagoon-style swimming pools and the beach of volcanic sand is just across the promenade. The main restaurant serves a buffet breakfast and for dinner there is a choice of both international and Spanish cuisine.

Regular evening entertainment and live music is arranged. A relaxed resort, Playa de los Pocillos has a good selection of shops, bars, cafés and restaurants, while the lively centre of Puerto del Carmen is just 2 km away.
