The best of two worlds - two stylish hotels forming a very attractive garden resort, with an excellent range of facilities and amenities.

The original Miramar manor house has luxurious suites; in the Miramar and Village hotel buildings you can find junior suites, superior and classic studio-type accommodation. A garden stroll apart, the facilities of both are open to all guests. There are two heated outdoor pools and one indoors, a health-and-fitness centre, massage-rooms, steam bath and jacuzzi.

The main restaurant overlooks one of the pools and the winter-garden is home to a bistro and a café. It is a pleasure to take afternoon tea to the sounds of splashing fountains or relax with a drink in one of the bars with live music, before or after dining in either of the two à la carte restaurants - one Madeiran, the other presenting Mediterranean cuisine.

Classic studios in the Miramar have air-conditioning, those at the Village have ceiling-fans. All have bathroom with hairdryer, cable TV, safe (rental), kitchenette and fridge, as well as balconies that overlook the swimming pools and gardens and towards the sea or mountains.
