Description

Overlooking the vast blue ocean, the Torre Praia is set in an established garden of palm trees and shrubs, next to the golden sandy beach and a three-minute stroll from ‘town’.

Its design is quite unusual: a cool, modern reception area leads to the lobby, where the focal point is a great granite chimney (it was an ancient lime kiln).

The panoramic ‘look-out’ above the hotel makes a wonderful spot for a chat with friends while watching the sunset. The accommodation on the upper floor is around a gallery reached by open stairs.

The hotel has a range of leisure facilities including a health-and-fitness club with gymnasium, sauna, squash court and Internet café, lagoon-style swimming pool and a good choice of watersports close by. The beach bar serves drinks and snacks, and the main restaurant has both table d'hôte and à la carte menus.
