This striking, curving hotel stands well back from the main road separating it from Ixia’s long beach. In front is a pleasant garden area with a larger than usual mini-golf course and public bar, to the side an impressive raised pool area with extensive terraces. Here loungers and parasols are free, whereas – in common with nearly all other hotels in the area – a charge is made for their use on the beach. There are exciting plans for a new spa and à la carte restaurant to open during 2006 but even if they were not, there are plenty of existing attractions to keep you happily occupied.
Families with children like the informal atmosphere but we have contracted only the superior seaview rooms and suites, which will ensure that our guests have more exclusivity and can order room-service breakfast without charge, enjoy fresh fruit daily, a welcome bottle of wine, twice-daily maid service and sunbeds on the spacious panoramic terrace.
